Unauthorised commercial publication or reproduction of any electronic resource materials is specifically prohibited and will constitute an infringement under Australian copyright law. The Library's electronic resources are governed by licence agreements that restrict use to Victorian Government departments and inner agencies for work-related, research or learning purposes as specified in the licensing agreement. Users of these resources are obliged to read the terms of the licence agreement on the publisher’s website before accessing the electronic resource. Access is not transferable to other third parties.
Electronic resource materials accessed by users through the VGLS website are protected by copyright, trademarks, patents and other proprietary rights and laws. Users must comply with such laws and acknowledge and reference any electronic resource materials used in the preparation of their work. Copyright is a complex area of law. Further information on copyright is available from the Australian Copyright Council.
